Has it been this long - Really?

My goodness. I have been so very neglectful, haven’t I. In my defense, I have several excuses ready ...

1. – I have been overworked. This is simply not true, at least not in the sense that I could not have found 30 minutes to write for this blog.

2. - I have had nothing to write about. Fallacy. I’m simply full of it today! I have been blessed with the most ‘story’ worthy pets ever known to man so there is no shortage of material.

3. - I have no creativity left. This one could be true. Teaching composition & rhetoric often sucks the creativity right out of my very soul. Grading and lesson planning and researching are all things I love. It is the sheer amount of time commitment that seems to such the life blood right out of me.

As you can clearly see, I have no plausible excuse for the lapse in posting. I’ll strive to do better.

As a matter of fact, I have a dozy of a story about Pru – she keeps things interesting, that’s for sure. I’ll be writing about that soon!
